Come and get involved in our community!
Getting involved at the school is a great way to support the community, support your Metzger student and to stay "in the know" with all things at the school. The Metzger PSO supports a variety of activities throughout the year. Volunteers are needed to help with various events from class parties to teacher appreciation events as well as ongoing support at lunch and pick-up and drop-off. If you are interested in volunteering, please do two things:
1. Fill out our volunteer form to be added to our email list and let us know the areas you would be interested in helping with! Once on our list, you'll receive notifications about upcoming volunteer opportunities.

2. Complete your volunteer application and background check with the district. All volunteers will need to have a background check and at this time volunteers in the classroom will be required to have done two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
.
Some of our volunteer opportunities look a little different this year, as we are currently unable to have volunteers in the building due to Covid-19, however we are expecting that to change as early as October 2021. Don't despair, there are plenty of ways to get involved in other ways until we are able to be back in the classroom with the kids!
If you have any questions, please contact our volunteer coordinator at: Metzgervolunteer@gmail.com.
