Hello Metzger Families!
Here is the sign-up sheet for class Valentine's Day Parties. Here are some VERY important details so please read these before signing up:
1. There is no school on Valentine's Day so all parties will be held on Thursday, February 13th!

2. When you sign up you will see there are two different positions to sign up for: Lead & Helper.

LEADS:
Will decide if they want an age appropriate pre-packed box (with crafts, snacks/drinks and game) for the class OR if they would like do a custom party and the parents will supply everything for the party. Leads must be able to attend the entire party -- if you are splitting your time with other classes than you should sign up to be a helper.

HELPERS:
Will help with all parts of the party - games, crafts and snacks. Please indicate if you are only able to help with a portion of the party due to splitting your time between classrooms.

3. All volunteers should put their email address in the comments section. This will allow parents to communicate and plan any necessary details. If you are not comfortable putting your email address in the comments please email me at metzgervolunteer@gmail.com so that I can connect you with the other parents in the classroom.

4. If you decide to have a custom party please know that one person will be able to be reimbursed for $2 per student in the class -- you will need to turn in a receipt into the office. If you have the pre-planned box than you don't need to worry about this!

As you all know, the staff at Metzger gives of their hearts to our children all year.  As such, it has been a long standing holiday tradition at Metzger Elementary for parents to gather together as a community and assemble packages of cookies in honor of the over 90 members of the Metzger staff and their big hearts.  Our ask of families is to bring 100 cookies (homemade or store bought) to share with the entire Metzger staff. On December 10 at 6:30 pm, please join the Metzger PSO in the Staff Lounge to drop off your cookies or stay and help assemble the cookie gift boxes.  Hot cider and hot chocolate will be served!  If you are not able to join us in the evening, please feel free to drop off your cookies at the main office during the day on December 10th and the office staff will give them to the PSO to package that evening. Please sign up to participate via this Sign Up Genius link and please direct any questions regarding this event to Kelly Hyde 503-516-1701.
